STREX Fasteners Materials List:

• UV resistant EPDM Stretch Pull- 

  • Thermal Stability: It stays flexible in temperatures as low as -45°C and resists softening or degrading in heat up to 150°C.

  • Weathering Resistance: Unlike natural rubber, EPDM does not break down when exposed to long-term direct sunlight or salty air.

  • Elastic Memory: It can be stretched repeatedly by wind loads and return to its original shape without losing its "grip" on the boat cover.

• UV stabilized Nylon Anchor Knob and Cap- 

  • Non-Corrosive Integrity: UV-resistant nylon is entirely immune to the galvanic corrosion and salt-pitting that plague metal hardware in marine environments.

  • Thermal Expansion Matching: Nylon handles the expansion and contraction of the boat's hull materials better than metal, reducing the risk of the mounting screws stripping out of the fiberglass or gelcoat during extreme temperature swings.

• Stainless Steel Anchor Screw-

  • Our Anchor Knob Screws are fully encased within the knob design, and are secured firmly with the added protection of superior grade steel. 
    

• Retaining Compound-
  • Chemically formulated for a strong and permanent metal to metal bond, ensuring your STREX canvas anchor snap stays securely with your cover.
• Nickel Plated Brass Canvas Snap Anchor-
  • Combines the natural rustproof properties of a brass core with a hard, protective nickel exterior that resists the abrasion caused by constant saltwater exposure and mechanical use.
